ALL DRUGS COMPLETELY LEGAL - not just cannabis, but also heroin or LSD, for example - can you imagine that? What sounds like a dream to many is a nightmare for others. At the same time, this is exactly what representatives of a liberal drug policy are demanding. The coalition agreement of the traffic light government also provides for a new approach to drugs and plans to legalize cannabis. But what about the other drugs that are consumed in Germany - should they also be legal? For many, this would be a long-overdue step towards a modern approach to drugs and would have many advantages: better education, control over the quality and origin of the substances and less crime. Others see legalization as a threat to children and young people and fear a massive increase in the number of drug users and thus also in addiction. So what is the right way? At 13 QUESTIONS we talked about how we want to deal with drugs in the future and where the right middle ground between legal and illegal might be. #DRUGS #13QUESTIONS #LEGALISATION 00:00 Intro 00:26 Question 1 // Should drugs be legal in general? 02:40 Question 2 // Which drugs have you taken and why? 07:38 Question 3 // How has society's view of drugs changed in recent years? 09:55 Question 4 // Why don't you differentiate between hard and soft drugs? 12:51 Question 5 // Has the concept of prohibition failed? 19:49 Question 6 // Would decriminalisation help those affected? 21:31 Question 7 // What could drug legalisation look like? 29:21 Question 8 // Would legalisation curb organised crime? 33:37 Question 9 // Would specialist drug shops endanger vulnerable groups? 41:20 Question 10 // What would be the first steps towards drug legalisation? 44:10 Question 11 // Can we agree that we need to improve drug policy and install an expert council with people like you to advise policymakers? 45:56 Question 12 // Can we agree that we need to destigmatize drug use so that we can deal with it as a society? 45:36 Question 13 // Would you be willing to support a different drug policy that focuses on prevention and treatment instead of repression and control if a democratic majority decides to do so?
