Over the last hundred years, the Moscow apartment has undergone significant changes, which were the result of innovations in everyday life, transformations in the city and the country. During this time, Moscow apartments changed, became communal apartments, city residents moved to "Khrushchev-era" apartments, bought housing on mortgage. Many times, Muscovites began to fight the bourgeoisie: they got rid of unnecessary furniture, house plants and even family relationships. The lecture is held as part of the event program of the exhibition of the Museum of Moscow and the Polytechnic Museum "House of Everyday Life".
