On December 10, 2024, a lecture was given by Professor Emeritus of University College London (UK) Rose Luckin on the topic: "Empowering Ukrainian Higher Education: Navigating the AI Revolution in Teaching and Learning". Rose Luckin is a PhD in Cognitive and Computer Sciences, Master of Arts in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Sciences, Professor Emerita at University College London, UK, Founder and CEO of Educate Ventures Research Limited, Advisor to Cambridge University Press and Assessment, Co-Founder of the Institute for Ethical AI in Education, President of The Self-Managed Learning Centre and Member of the DfE Scientific Advisory Committee. Professor Lakkin reveals the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in Ukrainian higher education, highlighting the possibilities of personalized learning, automated assessment and data analysis, as well as the challenges related to ethics, privacy and readiness of educational institutions. Particular attention is paid to the development of AI implementation strategies, the development of staff competencies and the creation of effective management models that meet the needs of the Ukrainian education system.
