Millennials and GenZ are the first generations to face the climate emergency. But individual action alone is not enough to create the change that will allow us to address the climate crisis and its effects with due importance. For this reason we met Alice Pomiato, a popularizer and former digital nomad, who chose to start from a local dimension to change her approach to the environment, animals and communities. Her path to awareness, however, is not only personal: since 2020, she has been involved in the dissemination of green issues and tries to be an active part of the change also by contributing to active citizenship projects. For a few years, VD has represented Italy in the Sphera project, a European network that tells the social challenges of the new generations. The project, promoted by the European Commission, allows us to share stories like this at an international level.
