Tímea Gáll from Csíkmadaras is a Székely housewife with two children who cooks for the guests of her family inn with passion and not just any gastronomic knowledge. At the urging of her guests, the pharmacist-trained innkeeper began writing down her traditional Transylvanian recipes, which later became a huge success with the book Kölksönkért kovász, illustrated with the works of the photographer Gyula Ádám from Csíkmadaras. Yet Tímea did nothing more than recall all the knowledge her late grandmother had provided her with. Not only was a collection of Transylvanian recipes born, but also a readable family history that also documents the household of a bygone era.
