Horse riding is a difficult sport, Tessa has been riding for 5 years now and in these 11 minutes you can see what she has learned. Tessa rode ponies at Manege Middenhof for a year, after which she got her own pony. She had weekly private lessons in dressage for about 3 years and jumping lessons twice a week. The last 9 months she has been trained and coached by @DeArckelhoeve, which means that her pony is ridden by Danielle Kok and she is guided almost daily in dressage, jumping, freestyle and lunging. She also learns how to groom. In addition to riding her own pony Blondie (5 years old), she has also been allowed to ride Boris since the end of 2019. Boris is a 7-year-old dressage pony who has already had the necessary training and can therefore teach Tessa a thing or two. With this video we want to show that even with intensive guidance it is still quite a challenge for a 12-year-old child to ride as required during dressage tests. I have no idea how talented Tessa is or isn't, nor do I know what it would be like if another child had followed this path. Nor can I say whether this is the right path. What I do know is that this suits us and Tessa (almost) always enjoys riding horses. Occasionally things happen that aren't so nice and she learns from that too. For example, she once had a bad fall and broke her wrist and she has also fallen off a pony more often and could eat sand. Despite the fact that there are also downsides to riding (as with any sport), she is eager to go to the riding school every day and interact with the horses, on or next to them. Tessa doesn't care, she goes. Even when her first pony was sick and she couldn't ride, she went to Sterre every day for care, whether that was in the clinic or at the stable, she didn't care. In 11 minutes, from a young girl who steps on a pony for the first time to a beautiful young lady who still has a lot to learn, but does so with pleasure! With thanks to her instructors of the past years, who have all contributed to Tessa being able to do what she can do now. Maja Strömberg who helped her overcome her fear after breaking her wrist and improved her seat and posture. Ferenc Damen who explained to her that no jumping without dressage Roos Dyson who corrected her a lot with her posture and seat and taught her that you can also do a lot of exercises next to a horse, which will help you sit better on your horse afterwards. Vereniging Eigen Paard who taught her that learning to ride dressage correctly is a process that you should not only enjoy, but also take your time for Stephanie Gog who taught her that nothing is impossible in jumping, that with patience and inventive thinking you can teach every pony/horse to enjoy jumping and last but not least Danielle Kok & Stephanie Kok who have been proving for 9 months that daily guidance can be incredibly fun, enjoyable and educational and that there really is a solution for everything. #HvP Tickets for the Go Social Party can be found here: https://www.gosocialmedia.nl/party/ HvP is sponsored in 2020 by: De Boer Horsetrucks: https://www.deboer-horsetrucks.nl/ Bucas https://www.bucas.com/nl/ GPA / gpanederland Montar / montarbenelux ECOStyle: https://www.ecostyle.nl/paard/ EQUILIBRIUM SADDLE FITTING SERVICE: https://www.equilibrium-sfs.nl/ Passier Nederland: / passiernederlandbelgie HvP Community on YouTube! / hartvoorpaard. .
