PEARS IN WINE Preparation time: 40 minutes Yield: 4 servings INGREDIENTS 1 bottle of dry red wine 1 cup (tea) of sugar 1 cinnamon stick 5 cloves Peel of 1 lemon 4 peeled pears Ice cream to taste PREPARATION In a pan, place the wine, sugar, cinnamon, cloves and lemon peel. Bring to a boil and stir well to dissolve the sugar. When it boils, add the pears. Cook over low heat until the pears are soft. Carefully remove and leave the liquid on the heat until reduced. Place the pear in a glass and the wine on top. Serve with ice cream to taste.
