Click here ???????? https://eletrica1.ead.eunaupmotors.co... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In some situations when installing an electrical component in the car we find ourselves with a signal that is incompatible with what we want, for example in a lamp that has the negative signal directly on it and needs a positive to activate, but its actuator only sends the same negative signal, which will not be enough to turn on the lamp because it needs a positive and a negative. In this and other similar cases, it is necessary to convert the signal using an auxiliary relay. The auxiliary relay has the function of assisting an actuator that does not have the full capacity to support the energy that the component being activated needs. But there are also other functions that the auxiliary relay can perform very well, such as polarity inversion. To do this inversion, we must correctly configure the connection of the relay terminals. I will use an example to make me understand better. If we have a lamp that needs a positive signal to be activated and we have a switch with negative activation, then we will connect the auxiliary relay as follows: positive on pin 30 of the relay, positive on pin 85 of the relay, the wire that comes from the switch goes to 86 and the wire that goes to the lamp to activate it must be connected to 87 of the relay. This way, when the switch is activated, the negative signal will interact with the positive of the relay coil, putting pins 30 and 87 in contact, causing pin 87 to receive the same positive signal that exists on pin 30 and thus will turn on the lamp. This procedure can be perfectly used when the need for polarity inversion is contrary, simply inverting the polarity from positive to negative of pins 30 and 85. Another advantage of using this system is that, in addition to polarity inversion, it will also be possible to supply a consumer of up to 40 Ah with a trigger that supports less than 0.5 Ah. I hope I have made it clear the procedure for reversing the polarity of a wire using the 4-pin auxiliary relay. I'll stop here and wait for you with our next topic, thanks.
