Latvian hockey legends return to the ice of Arena Riga!

To thank its outstanding hockey players, the Latvian Hockey Federation will hold the Latvian Hockey Legends Game on May 4. The match will take place at Arena Riga at 12:30 p.m. Rodrigo Lavins (white team) and Aleksandrs Nizhivijs (red team) have been chosen as team captains. Both of these hockey players have played the most games in the Latvian national team, Laviņš – 226, and Niživij – 222. The participants in the hockey legends match were selected based on the number of games played in the Latvian national team. Unfortunately, several players could not participate in this game due to busyness and health. At the beginning of April, the captains of both teams - Laviņš and Niživijs took part in a special draft ceremony, where they chose their team's players. In a festive and fun atmosphere, the draft ceremony took place in the locker room of the Latvian hockey team. You can get acquainted with the team compositions and the draft ceremony in the video below. Fans who bought tickets to the evening match between Latvia and Norway at Arena Riga will be able to attend the game of Latvian hockey legends free of charge. These tickets will be valid for both May 4th games. On the other hand, individual tickets for the legends match can be bought for 5 euros, excluding the commission of the ticket seller and Arena Riga. Seats for the legends match will not be numbered, so we invite fans to watch the match from the first level stands of Arena Riga. The doors of Arena Riga for the hockey legend game will open at 11:45. Don't miss a unique opportunity to see our legends on the ice of Arena Riga!
