On January 3rd, 2024, the Lützschena triangular track was used for the last time. The main reason for this was the new Hänichen loop last year. In addition to the extension of line 11E, the new turning loop offers more space. After more than 46 years, it was time to say goodbye to a piece of Leipzig's local transport history. So there is to be one last turnaround, and for this purpose, vehicles 1054 and the organized special trip with a Tatra tract, consisting of 2102+2126, set off in parallel towards Lützschena.
