When truck driver Marcin (43) drives through the city, there are many challenges. An accident with the truck would have serious consequences. A cyclist or pedestrian can quickly appear in front of the car. Because Marcin not only drives, but also lifts heavy containers with the crane, he always has to concentrate and stay calm. You can see how he gets on and how much money he earns in the video. Marcin is from Poland. Because it's easier, he calls himself Martin. He has had his truck driving license for a long time. For many years he has been a professional driver for a waste disposal company that takes containers from A to B. Most of the time they are filled with construction rubble, sometimes with bulky waste. The customers are companies or private individuals who are renovating their homes, for example. In our documentary you will see that loading and unloading containers is not easy. Just a small mistake on the crane and the container could tip over or fall - with terrible consequences. That's why the motto here is: stay concentrated and calm. --- This is "Is it worth it?": One person, one job, one life. And at the end the question: is it worth it? We accompany people in their jobs and show their lives. Is it worth it to work for a salary and use it to finance your own life? What makes me happy about work? We don't just compare salaries, we show how people live from their work. We are always looking for protagonists: If you also want to show how you live with your job, you are welcome to write to [email protected]! On a personal note: We are not infallible either - and although we make every effort to present every individual financial situation clearly, correctly and understandably, we sometimes need help. The Bavarian State Association of Tax Advisors and Auditors always provides us with competent support - thank you very much for that!
