I set sail with horse mackerel for the first time in a while. With the two-layer tide, the jig didn't get many bites. It felt like the boat was constantly pulling the jig, but in these conditions, all you could do was reel it in. If you can't aim for a pinpoint that's likely to produce a reaction, your fishing will be lazy. On the way back, I also tried to catch some amberjack, but it was a failure. Hopefully the tide will be better next time! I was able to catch some red spotted grouper by swimming around a lot of different spots.
