It is the classic route of the CANOE rental companies on the LAHN: from WETZLAR to LIMBURG with 9 intact SELF-SERVICE locks. That is an enjoyable 63.5 km of river from Wetzlar Cathedral to Limburg Cathedral. A long weekend with a bridge day is enough for that, like on Corpus Christi 2016, when I was once again out on the LAHN with my wife Astrid and our 3 dogs Fly, Luzy and Spagetti - in 2 TWO-PERSON kayaks from the well-known AIRBOAT company Grabner (http://www.grabner.com/schlauchboote/). This last clip of my 2016 Lahn trilogy is not just about paddling, but also about Limburg, catching the car by train and the final cleaning of the inflatable boats in the yard at home.
