A rare full marathon held at the end of May. What on earth is the "famous water" in the name of this event? I ran with a meaningful motive in mind, to find out why it is called famous water. However, in terms of schedule, I was still wounded after just completing the Nobeyama Ultra Marathon (100km) a week earlier, and the temperature at the end of May was already high, creating harsh conditions. Did I succeed in climbing to the top of the Kurobe River alluvial fan while bathing in the famous water, and turning around at the highest point? Did I manage to complete the race within the time limit while witnessing the great natural scenery that represents the Hokuriku region, such as the Tateyama mountain range, the Kurobe River, and Toyama Bay? And what kind of anniversary did this challenge become? Please check out the whole story.
