The latest film about Kowary entitled "Pages from a Diary" is an extraordinary work of Kowary cinematography :) it has become a kind of film bridge connecting: the older with the newer, the past with the future, the earlier with the later... In other words, in one film documentary it was possible to combine interesting stories and experiences of the older generation of Kowary residents with the youthful sensitivity and fresh perspective of our talented youth from Kowary... The film features extremely nice residents who arrived in Kowary right after World War II (often as children). Our seniors were encouraged to share interesting confessions and stories by young people from the Complex of General Education Schools in Kowary under the care of Tomek Raczyński. The entire recorded material was transformed into a dynamic film language by Rafał Musiałek from M.Brothers Studio. The film was commissioned by the Municipality of Kowary as part of a joint project entitled "Arka Karkonosze - common history and present" co-financed by the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund and the state budget through the Euroregion Nysa under the Interreg VA program. Czech Republic Republic of Poland. * * * * The Royal Mining City of Kowary is an atmospheric town with traditions and an interesting history located at the foot of the Karkonosze and Rudawy Janowickie. This is an unusual place for the ambitious! See for yourself!
