Navček, Livar: Machine factories and foundries, 1932, 48kg, h'' In 1818, for the parish church of St. Michael's Church in Ljubljana ordered 1 new bell weighing 2241 kg in total from the Samassa bell foundry. It was probably added to the existing bells. Then in 1834 they decided to enlarge the bell tower and ordered 5 new bells weighing 5245 kg in total. Mr. Franc Blejc was able to say that when the old big bell was thrown from the bell tower during the war, a huge crater was created in the ground behind it.
