Who would have thought that a kitchen renovation would take so much time, energy and courage? I am so exhausted and am looking forward to when we have the project behind us. But one thing is certain: this kitchen will be my new favorite place. The kitchen should have a retro feel and remind me of my favorite era, the 50s. I love this era, this style and everything and since each room in our apartment should have a different theme, it is a perfect fit. I am overwhelmed by how beautiful it already looks and that is definitely down to the colors from the Untersteller paint shop: https://www.onlinehandel-unterstaller.de (There is also a 10% discount on painting supplies at the moment) The tile paint alone is amazing. I always try to avoid heavy manual work, including removing tiles, and tile paint is simply the best alternative. The colored varnish is also a hit, I have worked with a lot of varnishes, especially the ones that are cheap, and I can definitely recommend one to you, invest more, it's worth it :) If you're wondering how I took the sink or the extractor hood off, luckily I had help because I generally didn't want to do anything wrong or cause more damage. Thanks to my best friend and her husband :) And also for those who don't like asking for help, there's no shame in it and you'll be surprised how much people would like to help you. :) The next part will be the icing on the cake and another icing on the cake that makes this kitchen incredibly beautiful. I can only say one thing, the nervous breakdowns were worth it.
