Being kidnapped in broad daylight during a bike ride - actually unimaginable, but that's exactly what happened to Nathalie Birli in the summer of 2019. While she was riding her bike through the forest, she was suddenly hit from behind by a car, beaten up and kidnapped. The kidnapper took Nathalie to his house, locked her in the closet, physically abused her - almost to the point of death. But she didn't feel fear during this time, only when she had the opportunity to escape did she panic. And that was just the beginning of Nathalie's fear of death... How the 28-year-old is doing today and what this extreme fear of death has done to her, she tells Lisa-Sophie in our new episode "Kidnapped: I was scared to death!". Why do we let animals suffer? Do we drink too much? Or: What does porn do to us? My team and I are interested in questions that have something directly to do with our lives, but also topics that are important to all of us and are often only discussed superficially. We look for answers to these questions, week after week - openly, honestly and independently. We don't meet experts, we are there: at the slaughterhouse, at the swingers party, while proselytizing in the pedestrian zone. And because we want to get to know as many perspectives as possible in our search, we always spend several weeks on a question. In the end, we want to provide an answer, even if it isn't easy for us. With each video - but especially in the discussions with you - we get a little closer to answering the big, tricky questions.
