Since this unit is 4x4, that means that instead of one, it has two electric motors, one on each axle, and that the entire system offers 222 hp of power. The 2022 Kia Sportage has a hybrid system consisting of a 1.6-liter turbocharged combustion engine plus a single electric motor located in front and powered by a 1.49 kWh battery.
