Today, according to the forecast, there should be a terrible thunderstorm all day, but still we decided to go somewhere on an expedition. Today we chose the village of Kopchyn in Mykulychyna. We started our trekking even before the heavy rain and went down to the Prutets Chemygivskyi river near the waterfall on the Chemygivsky rock canyon, which the locals call "Colorful", the canyon is 3 kilometers long. While the weather was favorable, we climbed to the top on the other side along the very channel of the waterfall, since it had not rained for a long time, so there was very little water there. A mountain village called Kopchyn is hidden behind a waterfall and a forest. It is not so far to go to it, if you drive up to the canyon itself. There is good asphalt on the road all the time from Yaremche or Bukovel, even through these distant streets hidden in the forest. We found not so many people living here. Some houses are already empty or have fallen into disrepair, because no one lives there for a long time. But over the past few years, the land of Mykulychyna and its surroundings began to grow wildly with cottage towns, which are specially hidden away from people, as this village, where real Hutsuls live, is also hidden. Ms. Vasylyna Vasylchuk shared with us very valuable oral folk folklore. And humorous songs and serious ballads about the Second World War. One of the main goals on our channel is to preserve oral folk folklore in our videos! To support our channel, write a comment under the video! Subscribe to the channel if you haven't already.
