#KHAMMESLIEN #COSMOJAZZ Kham Meslien, former double bass player of the group Lo'Jo, is embarking on a solo adventure. And what better place than the mountains of Cosmo Jazz to take flight? Kham Meslien officiated for almost twenty years in the group Lo'jo - an emblematic formation of Angevin jazz, led since 1982 by Denis Péan -, played in the trio Sweet Back, collaborated with big names like Archie Shepp, Robert Plant and Robert Wyatt... An impressive CV, which has allowed him to perform all over the world. A lover of freedom, Kham Meslien has been sailing solo since 2016. He thus put his name to a first album released in 2022 and called Fantômes... Futurs. There, the double bass player accompanies his favorite instrument with percussion and a charango, enhancing it all with effects, loops and overlays. He thus gives birth to compositions with a strong evocative power. It is on the site of La Flégère, at an altitude of 1877 meters, that the Cosmo Jazz festival has given Kham Meslien a rendezvous. With a view overlooking the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc valley, the double bassist's atmospheric music has all the space it needs to unfold and take on its full scope. We soar with it. Concert filmed on July 25, 2023 at the Cosmo Jazz festival, Chamonix. -------------------- [AVAILABLE UNTIL 11/22/2024] More concerts on our website: https://www.arteconcert.com You can also find us on: Facebook: / arteconcert Twitter: / arteconcertfr Instagram FR: / arteconcertfr Instagram DE: / arteconcertde
