About :

Self-proclaimed Lieutenant Park, nicknamed Half-moon Bear. Lee Geun-an, a counterintelligence investigator, was notorious as an unknown electric torture technician through the mouths of major public security criminals in the 1980s. However, he was a model civil servant who received the Blue Dragon Service Award in 1979 and the Presidential Citation 16 times in total. And for the very reason that he was faithful to his duties, he was sentenced to 7 years in prison and served time in Yeoju Prison. What kind of society was our 70s and 80s when the state actually commended and produced the crime of torture? Who were the torture technicians and how was their self-identity rationalized?
