Tenri University Judo Club, one of the strongest schools in Japan, will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year. The Judo Club is a boarding school with 91 members currently living there. It has produced many of Japan's leading judokas, including Shohei Ohno, gold medalist at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics and Tokyo Olympics, and Tadahiro Nomura, the first person in judo history to win three consecutive Olympic gold medals.
