In July 2024, we hiked from Norway's Guolasjärvi to Kilpisjärvi. The trip lasted 9 days and covered about 85 km. We arrived at Guolasjärvi by car. The route was slower for the rest of the journey and the driving speed had to be adjusted according to the conditions. Especially the uphill part of the route was a wonderful serpentine. Esa of the mountain bike took the car back to Kilpisjärvi, where it was waiting for us. The scenery was amazing all the way and the weather this time was very warm and there was hardly any rain. The rivers and streams to be crossed were low and thus easy to cross. Pihtsusköngäs is an absolutely top place, and Meekonvaara and Kuojarvarri's lime nippa didn't leave me cold either. Open landscapes are to our liking and therefore the whole route was wonderful to walk.
