In 2024, the Municipal Cultural Center in Chojnice implemented the task of the Master of Tradition - Helena Pawłowska. The project was co-financed under the Programs of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage 2024, Priority: Folk and traditional culture. As part of the task, the master of embroidery - Helena Pawłowska conducted classes for people who wanted to learn this difficult handicraft technique. For almost a year, classes were held in the community center in Silno, during which their participants learned the secrets of Kashubian embroidery with Chojnice patterns. The ladies who joined this difficult project declare that they will continue their education under the watchful eye of Mrs. Helena in the Modrak Embroidery Circle, together with the senior members of this circle. We invite you to watch a short film documenting not only the course of classes carried out as part of the project, but also showing how many good emotions the opportunity to learn and cultivate the beautiful tradition of Kashubian embroidery brings.
