Karolina and Michał SAMI designed their new old DREAM HOUSE on a small plot of land. It is small and energy-efficient, and yet the interior of the 120m2 house delights with its space and vintage atmosphere! In order to save on construction, the design of the house with an attic was created by combining two simple shapes and has no garage. It is not only energy-efficient, but also practical for the family! The high living room with kitchen and dining room are spacious, and the two bedrooms are small. In the bathroom on the ground floor, they managed to hide the laundry room, and the 4m2 bathroom in the attic accommodated a second shower! The idea for storage in the vestibule is to hide the wardrobe behind mirror fronts. We also go out to the travertine terrace. The residents explain why they chose to roof the terrace with polycarbonate. This episode of Dream Houses was created as part of advertising cooperation with the partner, Dreame Polska. ➡ Details of the July promotion for the cleaning robot: https://bit.ly/Dreamesoajuly12 House design without a garage and house construction cost estimate: architect Michał Pacholczak https://uslugiprojektowewarka.pl/ Heroes of the episode: Karolina and Michał / u_nas_po_staremu I invite you inside! The simple house has a beautiful blue door. Old brick on the facade, family memorabilia, and patterned tiles and French doors in the hallway - we see this from the entrance. Then, the cozy interior of the living room with kitchen opens before us, where Michał made the oak beams himself with the help of his family. They perfectly match the wooden parquet. By renovating old furniture, the residents saved a lot on furnishing the house. We check how they look in combination with a modern modular sofa. We also look into a low-cost kitchen from a chain store, which, thanks to vintage accessories, has gained a unique style! On the ground floor, the characters open the door to their bedroom after a makeover - with original wall decoration and furniture from their grandparents. There will also be an ingenious arrangement of the bathroom, where they managed to combine a bathtub and a shower and a cleverly hidden laundry room. In the attic, we show the son's room and the design of a small 4m2 bathroom, where the legs of the sewing machine serve as the structure of the washbasin cabinet, and a mirror in a golden frame adds shine to the interior. Moreover, throughout the house, decorations and gems spotted at antique fairs bring back pleasant memories of the good old days. Atmospheric summer in the garden also means old proven ways to deal with the cold. We answer the question why it is worth having a dugout in the garden! HOUSE BUILDING GUIDE: What construction technology did the characters choose in the episode? The brick house was built of silicate. The walls are double and insulated with graphite polystyrene. The attic has a 30 cm layer of mineral wool. Thanks to this, the costs of heating the house are relatively low. The house also has windows dedicated to a passive house with warm installation.
