About :

We did an autumn hike in Oulanga National Park. Karhunkierros was circled through the traditional starting point, i.e. Ristikallio P-place. The route starts at the Sallantie parking lot, from where the route to Ristikallio and. Ristikallio is a wonderful lookout point on the edge of an amazing cliff. From here the route continues to Taivalkönkää, from where the route continues e.g. Through Kiutakönkä, the Oulankajoki branch all the way forward from Ansakämä. After Oulankajoki, you reach Kitkaniemi and from there to the Kitkajoki near Päähkanäkallio. From here we continue along Kitkajoki, past Harrisuvanno, Siilastuva and Jyrävä, until we leave the national park and continue towards Porontimajoki. Along with Kuikkalammi, Porontima is the last place to stay before Ruka.
