The recording was made on April 1, 1988 by the television company MacLean Hunter Cable - Parkdale, group OKNO. It served as the basis for two half-hour broadcasts of this company in July and August 1988. The final editing for the broadcast was done by Karla Hartlová. The producers for the broadcast were: Kerry Biskupski, Aleš Březina, Karla Hartlová and Milo Kubík. Ivan Znášik and Otto Krčka also collaborated. Věra Rollerová gave the opening speech, and Eda Ottová gave the final thanks for the K-231 Club. Part of the proceeds from the concert was donated to the monument to the victims of communism in Masaryktown, which was unveiled in the summer of 1989. The author of the monument is the sculptor Josef Randa, a replica of the monument was dedicated to the city of Gatineau by the Czech ambassador Vladimír Kotzy in 2002.
