Menil, the commander of the 700-man French unit who was cornered by the Kuvva-i Milliye in Pozantı and had to flee to Mersin, wants to take a guide who knows the region well. On the way, he stops by a Yörük tribe. The name of the person who agrees to guide Menil, who is so crazy that he can kill even little children without blinking, is Hatice. She has lost her husband; Hatice is a brave woman who raised her son all by herself, who always hit the target and who knows the region from Pozantı to Mersin like the back of her hand.
