Rosé veal - Bermanschläger family company report: Rosé veal fattening as an alternative to bull fattening The Bermanschläger farm in Taiskirchen, Upper Austria, cultivates 33 hectares and has specialized in rosé veal fattening since 2021. Calves are raised optimally in a modern stable with slatted floors, rubber mats and wood chip heating. Two automatic drinkers and the farm's own feed rations ensure that the animals are fed according to their needs. With around 200 fattening places, the farm sells around 330 animals every year. In the film, Thomas Maurowich, Managing Director of AstroKalb, reports on the cutting and distribution of the veal and restaurant owner Johannes Puck on its quality and regionality.
