Comedians Torben Chris and Thomas Hartmann form the framework for a humorous and entertaining cultural encounter between city and country. Torben, the proud Jutlandic bon vivant, has set out to convert his friend and colleague Thomas, an incarnate Copenhagener who is not exactly used to Jutlandic life. Although Torben Chris is the epitome of a true Jutlandic, there are still two iconic Jutlandic disciplines that he has not yet fully embraced: tractor pulling and handball. In today's Jutlandic practice, it is high time to rectify this. Together with Thomas Hartmann, Torben sets out to explore the down-to-earth adrenaline rush of tractor pulling, where large machines and brute strength are in focus. Later, the warmth of the hall awaits when they throw themselves onto the handball field - a sport that is almost a religion in many Jutlandic communities. Can Torben live up to the expectations as an arch-Jew, and how will Hartmann fare in the encounter with these Jutlandic classics? We hope you enjoy Jysk for Beginners.
