Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens is a 2015 space opera by JJ Abrams with Daisy Ridley and John Boyega. Over 30 years have passed since the rebels destroyed the second Death Star over Endor and won the decisive battle against the dark forces of the Empire. But the First Order has risen from the ashes of evil and has once again seized power. While Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis) holds the reins in the background, he sends the lightsaber-wielding Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) into the field to spread the new world order to the most hidden corners of the galaxy. In addition, the extended arm of evil is searching for Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), the lost Jedi knight who was long considered the last of his kind. The new rebel alliance, the Resistance, is also doing everything it can to find out the whereabouts of Darth Vader's son. This circumstance takes the fearless pilot Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) to the desert planet of Jakku, where he hides secret information about the whereabouts of Luke Skywalker in his astromech droid BB-8 before he is taken prisoner by Captain Phasma's (Gwendoline Christie) regiment. On board the command ship, he meets Finn (John Boyega), a stormtrooper with the identification FN-2187, who is trying to escape the clutches of the First Order and sees Poe as the best option. During their escape, however, Finn is separated from Poe and shortly afterwards clashes with scrap collector Rey (Daisy Ridley), who has collected BB-8 on Jakku. Kylo Ren then sends his troops back to the desert planet to open fire again.
