Our workplace has long been a crew depot in charge of the Tohoku Main Line and Musashino Line, mainly focusing on locomotive operation, and we do our utmost to ensure safe and stable transportation every day. This time, we would like to present you with a video of the driver's departure inspection, almost uncut. In order to ensure that the vehicle can run safely on the main line, the driver performs a departure inspection at a set time, at a set inspection point, according to a set procedure. The EF81 electric locomotive is an AC/DC locomotive, so there are many inspection points and it is one of the most difficult locomotives to work on, but we check carefully to ensure that the vehicle can be safely departed.
