This is a video of the entire train window of the Super Azusa 6 express train bound for Tokyo, which departs Matsumoto Station at exactly 8:00. The train leaves Matsumoto Station in Nagano Prefecture, passing through Shiojiri, Kobuchizawa, Kofu, Otsuki, Hachioji, Tachikawa, and Shinjuku before reaching its final destination at Tokyo Station. The train is the second batch of the E351 series. It uses Hitachi IGBTs, and when accelerating and decelerating, you can hear a high-pitched, thin sound. You can enjoy the view from the train window on the Chuo Main Line to the fullest. After leaving Matsumoto, you can see the foothills of the Northern Alps all the way to Shiojiri. Between Shiojiri and Okaya, the train runs through the Shiomine Tunnel, which is a new line connecting route. Between Okaya and Kami-Suwa, the train stops at every station while overlooking Lake Suwa. Between Chino, Kobuchizawa, and Nirasaki, the train runs through the highlands that are the gateway to the Yatsugatake Mountains. After Nirasaki, the train runs through the Kofu Basin for a while, and you can see the Southern Alps in the distance. Before passing Takao Station, the train passes through a long mountainous area, and then runs briskly through a series of houses lined up with almost no gaps on its way to Shinjuku. Limited express trains rarely run between Shinjuku and Tokyo. After leaving Shinjuku, the train slowly travels along the city's buildings and expressways to its final destination, Tokyo Station.
