An unforgettable team that won the Copa do Brasil in the most cup-like way possible, silencing rival stadiums at each stage and introducing an entire generation of Grêmio fans to the greatness of Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense. Exactly 7 years ago, Grêmio established itself as the most cup-winning club in Brazil! In 8 games, there were 4 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss, a 62.50% success rate in the competition. Grêmio scored 10 goals and conceded only 5. The highlights of the title in direct participation in goals: Douglas: 1 goal and 3 assists; Pedro Rocha: 3 goals; Cebolinha: 2 goals and 1 assist; Bolaños: 2 goals; Ramiro: 1 goal and 1 assist; Maicon: 2 assists; Luan: 1 goal; Geromel: 1 assist; Marcelo Oliveira: 1 assist. And of course, it's not just the numbers that say it all. Grêmio counted on Marcelo Grohe's perseverance in goal, Edílson's strength and Marcelo Oliveira's leadership on the wings, along with the chemistry between Geromel's genius and Kannemann's determination in defense. In the middle, Wallace's firm marking, Maicon's dominance of the field and Ramiro's balance combined with Douglas' mastery of the ball. In attack, Pedro Rocha's speed and Luan's tactical and technical ability to occupy the field.
