I invite you to travel by IC Jeziorak train from Olsztyn Główny station to Gniezno station! In the recordings I presented a superficial presentation of the train set, recordings of the ride, interesting shots from stations located on the route of the IC Jeziorak train and other frames. The train starts (begins running) exceptionally early, in the morning hours. Around 5:30 a.m. the train left the starting station and set off on a long journey to Wrocław Główny station. I used the verb "set off" in the past form, because currently, the train no longer runs to Wrocław. As of the date of introduction of the new timetable on December 15, 2024, the train runs only on the Olsztyn Główny - Poznań Główny route. At the head of the train in the recordings is the EU160 Griffin locomotive, developing a maximum speed of 160 km/h. Some time ago, EP07 locomotives were the standard on this route. The change causes the train to cover the route several minutes faster than before. Opinions on the validity of such a change, especially among railway enthusiasts, are divided. The material will include: Olsztyn Główny, Ostróda, Iława, Jabłonowo Pomorskie, Wąbrzeźno, Kowalewo Pomorskie, Toruń, Inowrocław, Mogilno and Gniezno! The weather was simply excellent, the film will include recordings of sunrise and beautiful, sunny shots from the journey. The ideal temperature of the morning hours meant that I remember the whole thing (despite the early departure time) very positively! I invite you to watch and comment!
