17/10/2024 - 24/11/2024 Exhibition hall at the town hall - Silent poetics of Jiří Hanuš. Jiří Hanuš is a teacher and an artist (graphic artist, illustrator and painter), a member of the Pres Nostres group and SČUG Hollar. He chose the graphic for its clarity and purity, leaning towards the "velvet" mezzotint technique. It shows deserted places of the industrial landscape or glimpses into the desolate places of natural spaces. It captures a fantastic life-non-life, where with focused imagination we can sense the presence of unseen beings. His calm and "silent" graphics depict the hidden poetics of architecture.
