A historical documentary about the tragedy of Jasło, destroyed in 1944. 80 years after the event, the filmmakers examine all the circumstances of the case. They reach for files from Polish and foreign archives, talk to witnesses and experts. They conduct a thorough investigation to determine the motive and uncover the background of this crime, and above all, they look at the perpetrator - the occupation starost of Jasło, Walter Gentz. He is accused of the displacement and burning of a city of 15,000 people. Is this right?
