During this time, feelings that will disturb you may arise in your mind and body. If we experience these as “I am the mind and I am the body” rather than as a means of our existence, this meditation may feel like we are rejecting them. The reason for these feelings is that the mind is triggered the moment we say “I am not this mind”. After all, the mind creates itself through us. The same applies to the body… Feeling that the mind and body are temporary structures and that we are not actually them creates a great sense of power and expansion within us.
