First record of the making of Jairê's black pots. This is an attempt to preserve the technique of making Jairê's black pots, because traveling along the coast of São Paulo, only in Iguape do we find the making of these pots, a cultural heritage left by indigenous tribes. The video shows all the steps involved in making Jairê's black pots, from choosing the clay and removing the clay that is beaten, making the rollers using the arcodelado technique (overlapping clay rollers from the base), the meticulous finishing of the piece, firing and dyeing with tea made from the bark of the Jacatirão tree to make it waterproof, thus giving the pots their black color.
