Jaeyak, transportation information, and the hiking course, and then I will hike. *Things that are good to know before hiking the Pyochungsa course of Mt. Jaeyak The hiking trail is 70% stairs to the top. You can hike while listening to the sounds of water and beautiful waterfalls from the start of the hike up to 650 meters. In particular, the Heukryong Falls, Guryong Falls, and Cheongcheong Falls were quite impressive. When you start hiking from Pyochungsa and descend to Ice Valley, you cannot take the cable car. You can purchase a round-trip ticket at Ice Valley, and you cannot purchase a one-way ticket separately at the cable car station. The hiking course where you walk down from the cable car station to Ice Valley is steep, the hiking course is not good, and it is easy to work part-time. *I will explain the public transportation to Mt. Jaeyak The public transportation to Mt. Jaeyak is from Seoul Station at 5:05 AM. Take the KTX bound for Miryang and get off at Miryang Station at 7:50. It takes about 2 hours and a half. There are three ways to get to Pyochungsa from Miryang Station. The first is to take a city bus. Get off at Miryang Station and take city bus number 2 or 6 right in front of the station and get off at Miryang Terminal. It takes 15 minutes from Miryang Station to the bus terminal. Take the bus to Pyochungsa from Miryang Terminal. It leaves at 8 a.m. and the next one leaves at 10:30 a.m., so it would be better to take the 8 a.m. bus. It takes 40 minutes from Miryang Terminal to Pyochungsa. The second way is to take a taxi. It costs 30,000 won and takes 20 minutes from Miryang Station to Pyochungsa. The third way is to take the Arirang bus operated by the city from Miryang Station. There are six buses a day. You can get to Pyochungsa from Miryang Station. I started hiking from Pyochungsa and descended to Eoreumgol. If you have a car, the taxi fare from Eoreumgol to Pyochungsa is It costs 35,000 won and takes about 30 minutes. The taxi fare from Ice Valley to Miryang Station is 40,000 won and takes 40 minutes. When you return after hiking, you can take a bus from the Ice Valley parking lot to Miryang Terminal or Miryang Station. Thank you.
