Iyalorixá Carmem de Oxum, from Ilê Olá Omi Asé Opô Araká, from São Bernardo do Campo, brought stories of faith, struggle, female empowerment, and socio-cultural and political issues to our meeting. With total love and respect for the orixás, the sacred land of Ilê Olá Omi Asé Opô Araká, led by mother Carmem, father Karlito de Oxumarê, and dedication from all the baba egbé children Cláudio de Oxum, Asogun Ivan, Elemòsó Vinícius, and Opotun Júnior, the terreiro was listed as a cultural heritage site of the municipality of SBC. Mother Carmem takes a seat in the Inter-religious Forum of the state of São Paulo, defending religions of African origin, with important actions. It was the first interview that babalorixá Leandro de Iyemanjá did virtually. It's the waves of TV Votorantim reaching more hearts to receive this love from the orixás and enchanted ones...
