In this episode of the SPOTLIGHT podcast, we had the great pleasure of hosting two amazing young ladies, successful women and mothers. This time with us are Ivana Korab, our famous model, actress and entrepreneur, and Dr. Slađana Mihajlović, a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics and a subspecialist in infertility. The doctor is also a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. In her story, Ivana focused on strengthening the mental structure of both the woman and her partner, who go through this not at all simple process together. She also reflected on different experiences from countries in the region, the clinics she visited, the relationship between medical staff, but also the support of family, friends and society in general. Dr. Slađana took this opportunity to send a few very important messages, primarily to young women and men, who, carried away by the challenges of today, sometimes forget their priorities and, driven by inertia, demonstrate behavior that can have far-reaching consequences for their health and the health of their offspring. The doctor focused on healthy lifestyles, irrational behavior, timing and planning pregnancy, the danger of unverified supplementation, and treating patients on their own. We answered a large number of general and specialized questions, as well as your questions that came through a survey that Ivana conducted on her Instagram profile, which is followed by more than half a million, mostly young people.
