Edited recording of the presentation given at the 2022 Gyüttment Meeting. Due to technical reasons, only the audio of the second half of the performance was recorded. Description of the presentation: Most garden owners, unfortunately even in small rural settlements, mow the lawn bare every week, throw organic waste in the bin, view the living creatures around them with hostility, and buy vegetables and fruits in stores. The current drought is making many people wake up, food in the store has become too expensive, and in some places it was even impossible to water your favorite lawn. The presentation is about how to design your garden in an ecological way, so that you are surrounded by a pleasant microclimate and rich wildlife. The issue of drought receives special attention, with lots of ideas on what we can do locally to mitigate or prevent the difficulties associated with drought. Iván Gyulai is an ecologist, professor of biology and chemistry, president of the Institute of Ecology Foundation for Sustainable Development, director of the Institute, titular university associate professor. In the Institute, they do not deal with industrial solutions, they propose solutions for the life of simple households and small farms, how they could reduce the ecological footprint and environmental burdens. His point of view offers solutions, more free time and more crops, and he claims that "nature has only one pest: man. Rather, it is worth imitating nature, calling on nature for help." Many of his films spreading the view of sustainable development can be found on the Internet, the most famous being "The Gut Talk". Its name is intertwined with the "Gömörszőlős sustainable village" program. https://gyuttmentfestztival.hu/esemeny... The recording was made and edited by: Bálint Nagymihály
