During our week in Italy, we visited three major cities: Milan, Venice, and Rome. This is a film about the most important sights of Rome. A three-day trip around Rome turned out to be a real immersion in history and art. We started with the Vatican, where we were imbued with the spiritual atmosphere of the Papal Throne and the grandeur of St. Peter's Basilica. In St. Peter's Square, we saw the architecture created by the masters of the Renaissance, and in the Vatican Museum we saw ancient church artifacts. Moving on to Castel Sant'Angelo, we felt the connection between ancient Rome and the Middle Ages, and at the Trevi Fountain we threw coins, making a wish to return to this beautiful city. The Quirinal Palace reminded us of Rome's modern status as the capital of Italy. The Pantheon enchanted us with its dome, inspiring reflections on eternity, and Piazza Navona surprised us with its carefree atmosphere. Shopping on the Roman streets and a walk along the Spanish Steps helped us feel the everyday life of Rome. An unexpected discovery was a Chinese restaurant - a delicious contrast to Italian cuisine. Next, the Colosseum awaited us, making us think about the cruelty and madness of mankind, and the Arch of Constantine complemented the atmosphere of ancient Roman victories. We walked along Via dei Fori Imperiali and enjoyed the views that lead to the Roman Forum and the Capitol, reflecting the ancient and modern history of the city. We completed our trip with a review of Rome from the Capitoline Hill, where the center of Rome opened up in all its glory. These days became a beautiful mosaic of antiquity and modernity, filling us with inspiration and a desire to visit Rome many more times. 1. Vatican Papal Throne. 2. Via dei Fori Imperiali - a wide avenue in the center of Rome from Piazza Venezia to the Colosseum. 15. Roman Forum Romanum. 16. Capitoline Hill. 17.
