So I wanted to understand his idea, and talk about it and his view of artificial intelligence. My guest is Abdullah bin Hamdan, who holds a PhD in robotics and 3D printing from the University of Manchester. Hamdan believes that the goal of artificial intelligence is to show human-like qualities, and denies the argument that artificial intelligence will take over jobs, even though many jobs have less need for humans. He also believes that Elon Musk does not understand anything about artificial intelligence, and that self-driving cars will not succeed. I and the reality of accelerating machine learning and its frightening rapid development disagree with him, but my guest has evidence that machines defeating humans is impossible, and will never happen!
