More than 120 years after its construction, the Iron Lady still dominates the capital and has been given a makeover over time. New work is underway to redevelop the entire first floor and offer visitors new sensations. The two large pavilions will be rebuilt and will house a new performance hall and a space dedicated to Gustave Eiffel. And the opaque floor of the first floor will be partially replaced by a glass floor to give the public the impression of walking in the void. On the occasion of this major project, Fred and Jamy take us behind the scenes of the Eiffel Tower from inside the four pillars to the top floor where the digital terrestrial television antennas are installed. They tell us how this iron tower was built, how it is maintained and how its every movement is closely monitored.
