In each episode, we will witness the lives of names that are well-known in Turkey and who are highly respected by all segments of society through their own narratives. We will find answers in this program about the environment they were born, how they were raised, who influenced them, and what they experienced to get to this day. So, who are the names whose Traces we will follow in this program? For example; İhsan Fazlıoğlu, Hüsrev Hatemi, Uğur Derman, Rasim Özdenören, Sezai Karakoç, Dücane Cündioğlu, İsmet Özel, Sa'düddîn Ökten etc. In this episode, Traces continues to mirror the walking rhythm of beauties. This week, we will follow the traces of our teacher Abdullah Sert. As we walk along the memories ranging from Sami Efendi to the late Mahir İz, from Musa Efendi to Necip Fazıl, we will also see that the traces stretching in front of us are telling us news of ourselves... In this episode of Traces, Abdullah Sert mainly talked about the following; I was born in 1948 in Kutahya/Tavsanli district, Kurucay town, now it was Kurucay village. I was born there. Of course, the neighborhood we were born in is really a very conservative neighborhood, looking back from those days to these days. In other words, it is a conservative Anatolian village with a mosque in the center of the village, where people flock to the mosque from every street during morning prayers, where gambling, alcohol and even coffeehouses do not have a small game... Thank God, I can say that we have really grown up in a spiritual atmosphere since we were very young. Why? Also, our father and mother's understanding of Islam, their religious life, holding our hands and taking us to the mosque at a young age, and the people in the mosque are also unforgettable memories, now I am 73 years old, I mean when I went to the mosque when I was 7 years old, I still remember an old man who gave us candy at the foot of the pulpit because we came to the mosque. So, the children of the village come to the mosque for the morning prayer, as if I were to give them a candy on the way out... Maybe these are instrumental in a conversation, a love between generations and future generations carrying those legacy... Continued in the video...
