◆ Dochodo Island in Sinan, the southernmost part of the island. Canadian couple Andrew Kennedy and Jane Kennedy live on the island. The newlyweds, who have been married for 1 year and 4 months, came to the island in August 2008. They applied after seeing a job posting for native English teachers. Currently, Jane teaches English at elementary, middle, and high schools on Dochodo Island, and Andrew teaches English at schools on the neighboring Bigeum Island. It's been half a year since we've been living with the warm-hearted islanders, even though we can't speak the language. At first, there were many unspeakable difficulties, but now there are neighbors who take care of us like their own bodies.
