As a journalist, he has appeared in various media outlets, including La Retaguardia and Libros con Uasabi, both founded by Fernando Sánchez Dragó, whom he considers one of his main teachers. For more than a decade, he has taught numerous courses on both Spanish and Latin American literature at various universities in the United States, as well as lectures. He is also one of the most important Cervantes scholars in the world, whose discoveries in the work of Don Quixote have earned him well-deserved international recognition. *In the introduction, there is a fragment of the song “Todo Está en los Libros” in homage to Fernando Sánchez Dragó and his excellent television programs on literature. The lyrics are by Jesús Munárriz and the music by Luis Euardo Aute. It was written in 1982 and served as an introduction to the “National Library” and “Black on White” programs.
